All of my pieces start with compass and ruler to create a geometric grid from which the patterns are derived. This grid and the patterns that rest upon it have the potential to be repeated indefinitely. The grid, a symbol of the Eternal, is always there, silently guiding and fashioning the pattern, its boundaries leading to the Boundless. The use of geometry, light, and white paper seeks to engender remembrance, and a feeling of serenity in the viewer.
