99 Circle Series
The designs in the series below were all derived from a geometric grid consisting of 99 circles to symbolize the 99 beautiful names of Allah (God) in the Islamic tradition. Each piece's title is inspired from one of the Names.
Illumination Wall Lamp
Jen was commissioned by her alma mater The Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts to design the backdrop for HRH Prince Charles' 2018 commencement speech. In collaboration with several members of The School's staff she designed and constructed Illumination, a wall lamp consisting of backlit, cut and layered Shoji paper in a custom oak frame.
